TODAY'S ADVENTURE
Blue Heron Beach Resort Review (with pictures)Resorts in Orlando Florida are everywhere. Finding the right one is a challenge in itself. Most offer luxury rooms, villas, and suites at luxury prices. This means they are way out of our budget. When I found Blue Heron Beach Resort, I truly couldn’t believe their rates. I had to call them a couple of times to confirm that for the price they really give all that they say, it simply didn’t seem right.
Did you know the biggest McDonalds is in Orlando? If you’re looking for more places to visit in Orlando with your family, make sure to read my blog post about it. Also, I have a post with amazing food to try while visiting the city.
Why Blue Heron Beach Resort Is Perfect for Families?
Blue Heron Resort is located right on Bryan Lake in Orlando. They are two buildings with 22 floors. You either stay in the apartments facing the Lake or overlooking Orlando.
We were on the 21st floor with views of the lake which were to die for. This is seen from our balcony, which is literally the width of our entire condo.
Overall Design of Our Three Bedroom Two Bathroom Condo
We had three bedrooms that can easily fit eight people comfortably. The master bedroom comes with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and a balcony where I spent the majority of my time when in the room.
Plus the largest bathroom with a jacuzzi I have had on the entire trip.
One adorable bedroom is bunk beds, great for kids to sleep in and have fun.
The other bedroom is with two twin beds, attached to another huge bathroom.
Full kitchen.
The not-so-fun part, but oh-so-crucial – washer drier
This was my kid’s favorite room – the living room, with an awesome TV for downtime between all the Orlando activities.
The amenities of the resort practically made it a destination in itself. There is a dock that takes you directly to the lake, you can fish and even take out a boat. Plus, with two pools, this was a great substitute for TV time and a good way to get the kids tired of bed.

Plus, a hot jacuzzi is always a fun option.
We’re not big video game lovers, but it’s fun to visit an arcade once in a while.
