HOSTED BY: 1 AIR TRAVEL

Editor’s note: This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

The U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways sale, featuring three weeks of daily deals from major travel brands, is back for 2024. It includes big discounts on hotel points, theme park tickets, vacation packages and hotel stays.

The sale kicked off April 15 at 1 p.m. EDT with a points-buying promotion from Hilton Honors. All subsequent deals will be available at the same time daily through May 1. You can review all of the daily offers here.

To help you prepare, we’ve highlighted the best deals from the 2024 Daily Getaways promotion.

Our favorite deals

Of the 18 deals available, we’ve selected our top three worth considering, including this April 23 deal for buying Marriott Bonvoy gift cards at a 20% discount.

This deal’s details are as follows:

Spend $80 for a $100 Marriott Bonvoy e-gift card (1,070 deals available).Spend $200 for a $250 Marriott Bonvoy e-gift card (252 deals available).Spend $400 for a $500 Marriott Bonvoy e-gift card (200 deals available).

You can redeem Marriott gift cards at most hotels in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio for stays, dining, spa services, golf tee times and more. Marriott gift cards also never expire. Even if you purchase a gift card, you don’t have to be the one staying at the hotel.

Next, we recommend looking at the April 25 deal for a three-night stay in a suite at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas — specifically a Grand King Suite for $1,200 or a Grand One Bedroom Suite for $1,300.

This offer is valid for three consecutive nights booked through Dec. 26, 2025. Additional blackout dates may apply based on suite availability. Reservations must be booked at least 14 days in advance, and certificates are nonrefundable.

When researching this deal, TPG found rates for these suites usually range from $1,750 to $1,900, depending on travel dates, making this an opportunity to save at least $500 based on availability.

Lastly, the April 30 sale for World of Hyatt bonus points offers the opportunity to purchase points at a rate below TPG’s current valuation of Hyatt points at 1.7 cents apiece.

On April 30, World of Hyatt points will be on sale with three buying options, though the quality of these deals is very low:

Spend $396 for 30,000 World of Hyatt bonus points, which gets you points at 1.32 cents per point (three deals available).Spend $660 for 50,000 World of Hyatt bonus points, which gets you points at 1.32 cents per point (nine deals available).Spend $960 for 80,000 World of Hyatt bonus points, which gets you points at 1.2 cents per point (12 deals available).

Hyatt doesn’t have a buy-points promotion, but you can see the current rates here. World of Hyatt members enjoy waived resort and destination fees on award stays at most properties. Also, Globalists get free parking on most award stays.

How to buy

New Daily Getaways deals will become available every day through May 1 at 1 p.m. EDT. Deals will be available in limited quantities until they sell out, so act fast if interested.

What credit card should I use for Daily Getaways?

In the past, Daily Getaways purchases have coded as general travel, so you’ll want to use a credit card that has a category bonus for general travel. Consider using the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (3 points per dollar), the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (3 points per dollar on the first $150,000 in combined purchases for travel, shipping purchases, internet, cable and phone services and advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines each account anniversary year), the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (2 points per dollar) or the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card (2 miles per dollar) to make your purchase.

Bottom line

Through May 1, you can explore a variety of savings — including up to half off hotel stays, theme park tickets and vacation packages — thanks to the return of the Daily Getaways program.

The Daily Getaways program is available to all legal U.S. and Canadian residents (excluding those who live in Quebec) above 18 years of age. Be sure to jump on any offer you are interested in since there is a limited quantity of each available.
