Deal Alert: Fly Business Class to Italy from NYC, Los Angeles & Seattle from $1.7K

HOSTED BY: 1 AIR TRAVEL

Most of the travel deals we spotlight on TPG tend to focus on big sales on economy tickets because all travelers like to save money on airfare. This new sale is all about traveling in style while saving some serious cash.

Business-class fares to Italy are on sale, with some routes costing half the normal price. Obviously, these are still quite expensive tickets, but considering what business-class travel usually costs, they represent significant savings.

If you’ve been waiting to plan a trip to enjoy that magnificent country’s varied beauty, its rich food and divine wine, your patience is about to pay off. Carriers such as Air France, BA, Condor, Delta, TAP and Turkish Airlines all have marked down prices on their luxury travel products. The catch is that most of these fares involve a layover.

The best availability is for travel between this June and March 2023. There is limited availability for some travel over the holidays. Unlike other deals we spotlight, no need to worry about paying extra for luggage unless you travel with 3-4 bags.

A big thanks to Scott’s Cheap Flights for alerting us to this new deal. Its basic membership is available for $49 per year. The Elite tier option is available for $199 per year, which provides you with access to deals on premium economy, business class and first-class tickets.

You know what we always say; the more flexible you can be with your travel plans, the better price you’ll be able to find.

Sample flights

We found great availability for business class deals from Chicago (ORD) to Milan (MXP) in the summer and fall, like this September itinerary on Turkish Airlines for $2506.

Prices on business-class seats from New York City (JFK) to Milan are also deeply discounted from November through January. Condor has business class tickets for less than $2,000 round-trip. That’s a significant markdown from what it typically costs. Condor’s business class product is a bit older than you would find on other airlines, but it’s a great price for a lie-flat seat on a flight over 10 hours.

If you’re hankering to visit the Eternal City and take in the grandeur of the Colosseum and visit the Vatican, we suggest planning a trip early in 2023. We found great prices on biz-class travel from Miami (MIA) to Rome (FCO) on TAP Portugal in February for $1,695 round-trip. That’s an excellent price for a business-class seat, even taking into account the layover in Lisbon.

Maybe the best fare we found with this entire deal was this Turkish Airlines itinerary from Seattle (SEA) to Rome in November for $2,625. You can usually expect to pay as much as $7,000 for a similar ticket.

If you live in Minnesota, you can fly from Minneapolis (MSP) to Venice (VCE) to start your summer off in luxury with a business-class fare on Condor that costs just $2,060.

Business class from Boston (BOS) to Venice in December is available on TAP Portugal for $2,112. That’s not only a nice tribute to Canada’s greatest power trio Rush, but a major discount for luxury travel during the holiday season.

Finally, business class seats from New York City to Venice on Condor are available during the holidays for less than $2,000 round-trip.
